What’s going on here? Is it true or is it not? Am I a Pisces or Aquarius?
These are some of the questions I’ve been asking myself after reading my friend’s facebook status this morning. Apparently, Fox News is responsible for starting this hoax, per Weatherspace.com. I tried researching more on this matter (aka: Google) and there are couple of article that supports the claim that the horoscope has not change.
- NPR’s Scott Simon interviewed a Minnesota astronomer, Parke Kunkle, who claims that Ophicuhus is real, but only for the zodiac calender that was designed during ancient Babylon. Here is a radio clip of the interview.
- CNN also did a blog post about it. I don’t want to summary what they said, so if you want to read it, click here.
All in all, I’m glad that this one is hoax, but I’m pretty pissed about it. What’s the point on making a hoax?
Sigh….it was fun being an Aquarius for two days, but like all good things must come to a end. Haha. Goodbye, Aquarius. I’m home, Pisces.
What do you think, hoax or real?
