There are a couple of movies that I can watch over and over and over again. One of those movies is
Shawn Sean Shaun of the Dead. Before Shaun of the Dead, I never liked zombie movies. I love horror movies, but when it came to zombies, I was not into it. Maybe because I didn’t understand it, I don’t know.
Because of these two (and writer/director Edgar Wright), I’m in love with zombie movies. If you haven’t seen this movie, you MUST. Its one of those horror/comedy…well, mostly comedy than horror. The best thing about this movie is that it may look like a parody-type movie, but it’s not. Actually, this movie is constantly being parody of. Irony.
Shaun (Pegg) is a simple guy, who lives with his flat mates Ed (Frost) and Pete (Peter Serafinowicz) and loves nothing, but hanging out at the Winchester bar with his best friend, Ed, and his girlfriend, Liz (Ashfield). After many years of hanging out at the Winchester, Liz just had enough. Liz breaks up with Shaun, not because she is not in love with him, but because she wants to do other things than go to the Winchester.
The day after Liz breaks up with him, he decides to “get his life sorted out.” Naturally, it was the same day as the ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE. Now Shaun has to find a way to sort out his life and save the people he loves.
I love this movie. I’ve watched this movie so often that my DVD disc is worn out.
What movie do you watch over and over again?
