First off, I have no clue what’s the offical name is for this. I don’t know if the company name is AHAVA or Dermud. After some investigation, its called Dermud AHAVA. This lotion is a intensive nourishing hand cream that is enriched with dead sea mineral mud and mineral skin osmoter. If you don’t know, dead sea mineral is supposed to be very beneficial. Some of the benefits are:
- Helping to balance and maintain proper water and moisture levels.
- Helping to promote the healing of skin tissue.
- Helping to prevent and cure allergies and gives the skin surface an anti-allergic protection.
- Helping to protect against airborne pollutants.
- Helping to counteract internal toxins.
- Aiding relaxation and promoting a soothing effect.
I’m not too sure if this lotions provides these things. There is no claims on their website on this, but in general, these are some of the benefits of the dead sea minerals.
This cream is thick, but not Vaseline thick, but close enough. The lotion is paraben free, approved for sensitive skin, allergy tested, and dermatologically tested. Great. So far, I’m liking this lotion.
As you can tell, there is a slight milky orange tint to it. It does absorb fast and it doesn’t feel greasy, which I love. I hate that feeling of being slick and sticky. I don’t like coming out of the shower and having things stick to me, like blanket lint fuzzies. Ugh….just thinking about it makes me cringe.
The only thing that bothers me is the smell. OMG, I don’t like strong scents. I usually like light scents. This lotion smells like strong baby powder mixed with a bed of roses. It’s not bad, but it gives me a headache. If you like those kinds of scents, then you will LOVE this lotion.
I wouldn’t repurchase this. The smell is off putting.
What kinds of perfumes do you like?
FTC: Everything was purchased by me with my own money. I am not getting paid to do this blog post, I have no affiliation with this company. These are all my honest opinions.

Cool. I don’t like harsh smells, too! Gross.
Ya, I wish it had a better smell. Honestly, its a good lotion, too. That’s too bad.
That sucks.
