And the Award Goes To…

Whoop-whoop to my first award!

This is my first blog award.  When I think about it, this is my first award this year!  I love it. When I started this whole blog thing, I never thought I would make awesome friends.  I feel the love.

I would like to thank the person who gave this to me, Tasia from One Step at a Time.  I actually she was the reason why I started this blog.  If I didn’t find her blog, only God knows where I would be.

There are rules to this award, they are simple.  First, thank and link back to the person who gave you the award. (Check!) Then share 7 things about yourself. And finally, tag 15 other bloggers and let them know that you’ve given them an award!

7 Things about Jen:

1. Although, I’m a totally girly-girl (ie: makeup, shopping, etc.), I love roughing it. Camping, surfing, quading, whatevers.  I grew up as a tomboy, but when I graduated from High School, I started getting into make up and stuff. Don’t let my painted nails fool you, I don’t mind ruining it.
2. I love ordering stuff online, but not buying it. Let me explain, I love putting items in the checkout cart, but I never follow thru and buy it.  I don’t know if that’s weird.
3. I’m a easy crier. I can easily cry at a Hallmark commercials to those Sarah Mclachlan animal cruelty commercials.  And don’t get me started on the ending to Armageddon. Niagara Falls.
4. I love listening to movie commentary.  If I really love a movie (ie: Hangover or Hot Fuzz), I need to buy the deluxe double (sometimes triple) disc dvd, all because I want need the commentary extra.
5. Old people love talking to me and I love talking to them.  Just call me the Old Whisper.  For some odd reason, elderly people just love talking to me.  There is something about my face, they always come up to me and talk, which I don’t mind.
6. I look boy crazy, but I’m really not.  Actually, when I like someone, I tend to ignore them. I don’t know why. I think its, because I get so nervous I tend to not make eye contact with them. UGH, this is why I’m still single.  LOL.
7. When it comes to electronics, I research, research, research, before I buy.  I will go for months of researching before I buy any electronics….it doesn’t matter how big or small.  Currently, I’m researching a juicer and netbook.

1. Maureen from A Little Rough Around the Edges.  I absolutely love her.  She is so funny and honest with each of her post.  If we met in real life, I know she would be one of my home girls..fo’ sure! I know she would have my back and I would have hers.
2. Faryn from Ahi Sandwich Please.  Every time I visit her site, I always learn something new.  For example: did you know your pupils dilate when you are attracted to someone? Also, my music taste has hugely increased, because of her blog.
3. Tiera from Side Culture.  She is my bloggie twin.  We have the same birthday, we live in the same area, we have very similar taste….yah, it’s kinda scary.
4. Illusyon from Journey to a Healthier Me.  This girl is brave.  She blogs about the ups and downs of losing weight.  She inspires me to be a better healthier person.  At ever post, she puts an inspirational quote, which I really like!
5. Annie from Nailstah.  She blogs about nail polishes.  Anytime I want to get a nail polish, I always check her site.  She is always up to date with all different kinds of nail polishes.  Her photos are AM-azing.
6. Vicky from Hot Pink Cuttle Fish.  There is something about her that I connect with. I can’t describe it, but maybe I see a little of myself in her.
7. Mary from Quarter Life Ventures.  I love reading about her adventures she goes on.  Trust me, it does feel like you went on an adventure.
8. Mrs. Hart, Mrs. Sinclair, Mrs. Albright, Mrs. Robinson, Mrs. Priss, Mrs. Coco, Mrs. Bundy, Mrs. Edward, and Mrs. Montgomery from Real Housewives of Oklahoma.   These ladies are a riot. I wish I was married and lived in Oklahoma, so I can join their club! Awe….they are too cute!
9. Mamarazzi from Dandelion Wishes.  She already got this award from Tasia, but I have to give her one too.  She is awesome.  I love reading her “Happy List” and “Monday Giveaways.” Yes, she does do a giveaway every monday.  She is warm and caring. I can’t wait to meet her one day.
10. Anneorshine from Ascension Style. I love her style.  She inspires me to dress better.  I only wish I could take her along on my shopping trips! She even have a youtube account.  Here is her latest video.  
11. I love The Girl and Boy.  Her post inspires me to be more crafty.  She makes the most gorgeous scrapbook layouts.  I wish I could be that crafty.
12. Iz from Izznit.  She is so funny and her dog, Lilly (who also have a blog called Lily the Smelly Frenchie) is so cute!  She has the best camera in the world and she always capture the cutest pictures.  Plus, she has really dope hair.
13. Miya from Miya Desu YO! Soredake.  She is an amazing drawer. OMG, I wish I could draw like her or better yet, have one of her drawings. I’ve seen her in the Downtown scene, but I’m too scared to say Hi.  LOL. Maybe one day.
14. HollyAnnAeree from Things Holly Hearts. Her blog is like retail porn, in a good way.  When ever she says, “You must get this_________,” I run out and get it.  It could be lipgloss, hair dye, food…whatevers.  I started watching her youtube channel for a couple of years now, but her blog is what I alway crave for.  Here is her latest video on youtube.  
15. Valentina from Valentina Dang.  I’m sorry, but I should’ve added her the first time.  I totally spaced!!!  I absolutely love her blog.  I actually found her blog thru her youtube channel.  Unlike the other youtubers, she updates her blog more than her channel, which I appreciate.  My favorite video on her channel is this one:
