I’ve been debating heavily on what hair color I should get. I feel like my hair color is lacking the particular spark that I am looking for. Here is some background on my hair:
- I’ve been battling pre-maturing gray/white hair since I was 8 years old. All thanks to my parents and their parents and their parents after that.
- My original hair color (that I haven’t seen for over 15 years now) is jet black. I have very dark black hair and it’s not sexy. I wish. The harsh black doesn’t look right against my olive-yellow skin tone. It makes me look sickly.
- I have thick hair.
- I look better with lighter or brighter hair color. Plus, it hides the white hair longer than dark hair.
Or should I go reddish brown like Kristen Stewart?
I could see myself going both ways, so I’m torn. I think during the summer, Rihanna’s hair color would be awesome, but since summer is half way done, maybe I should do Kristen’s hair color. BUT…I do live in Hawaii, where its pretty much summer all year around.
I need your help: Which red should I go with?

Rihanna fo sho! If you’re gonna go for it, GO for it!
YA! Crazy hair color rules. LOL. I don’t know if I can get it to be that exact red, but I think it’s possible. I just need to buy some manic red hair dye. Thanks for your suggestion.
I love the idea of the second option. I’ve been dying my hair red at home for a while and get my dye at a beauty supply store. It lasts longer and doesn’t cost dramatically more than a store box. Check it out!
I totally want to do that. There is a Sally’s beauty supply store close by. But I don’t know which developer and which hair dye to get. Man, I’m a mess. LOL. Someone told me the higher the number on the developer the darker the color? And lower the number the lighter the color? I don’t know. HAHA
Welcome back home!!!!!!
Hmmm…I like the bold red! I like the more natural read colors too, but if you are going to go red…be brave and be bold.
Good luck.
Wow, bold is winning. I’m so shocked. Even Boss Lady was excited when I said I wanted to go bold. We will see….when you get back home.
