Aloha All,
I’m a full time BROKE college student, trying to live the HI life in Hawaii. My dream is work for the Travel Channel. For now, I’m in school studying in Communications/Journalism.
This blog is my way of sharing my life with the world. I know you are supposed to have a niche blog, but for now, I have a multi-purpose blog.
Here I’ll be writing about:
- Life in Hawaii
- Cooking
- My ramblings about school, life, relationships, whatevers.
- UFC. I love MMA. I’ve been doing Muay Thai for couple of years and I still have dreams of fighting in the ring…one day.
- My fitness trials and tribulations of losing 30+ pounds.
- Photos. I’m a wannabe photographer. I’m not good at all, but can’t wait to be good at it!
- Reviews on Movies, TV Shows, Music, and Product Reviews.
- Travel and my (mis)adventures.

Hi Jen, I just happened across your web site while looking for information on Hawaii and trying to make some contacts. We are looking to make a move from the midwest to Kaua’i and am trying to gather information about making such a move and things to consider, look out for, etc. I would love to get in contact with someone who has made such a move or even someone from the island that would be willing to communicate with me. I wouldn’t be bothersome to anyone but would love to have a resource. Not sure if you have any knowledge about moving from the mainland but would love to compare notes sometime if you’re interested. Hawaii certainly is an amazing place. We will be there again the end of September for 2 weeks and our goal is to move there permanently sometime in Spring of 2013. I look forward to hearing from you. I have enjoyed your blog and look forward to keeping updated with it (and your other blog as well). Thanks and take care!
